Kenneth Tam will be returning to Sci Fi on the Rock 3 in 2009, and plans are in place for him to launch The Frontier,
the second book in the His Majesty's New World series, at the convention.
A 24-year-old Newfoundlander, Kenneth holds a Masters in history from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario.
His thesis dealt with the Caribou Hut, a hostel operated by Newfoundlanders for allied servicemen passing through the country.
He has won a prestigious Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and was a Balsillie Fellow
at the Centre for International Governance Innovation in Waterloo during 2006-07. In that capacity, he worked with Canada's former ambassador and
permanent representative to the United Nations, Paul Heinbecker.
Kenneth is an author and partner with Iceberg Publishing,
his family publishing company (named for a piece of an Iceberg once found on Bellevue Beach).
He has released eighteen novels in three separate series, and has traveled from coast to coast across Canada,
doing book events, visiting classrooms, and giving workshops on writing.
A recurring guest at Sci Fi on the Rock since its first edition in 2007,
Kenneth says it is an honor to be returning once again.
