January 22, 2008 - Sci-Fi on the Rock is pleased to announce it's newest guest Actor Brian Downey!! A native to Newfoundland, Brian Downey is well known for his roll as Stanley Tweedle in the Sci-Fi series LEXX.

January 20, 2008 - Book Launch!! - Kenneth Tam and Iceberg Publishing will be conducting a book launch at the Holiday in on Friday, April 18th, coinciding with our convention. For more imformation check out www.icebergpublishing.com

January 20, 2008 - Downtown Comics, EC Sports and Hooked-Up have been added to the buissnesses attending the convention.

January 5, 2008 - There will be a Charity auction on Sunday morning with a portion of the proceeds going to the school lunch program. We will be auctioning off all types of Sci-Fi, Fantasy ,and Horror items. Hope to see you there!!!

December 4, 2007 - Geek Survivor is now looking for potential candidates for contestants for our 2008 convention. We are looking for 16 Sci-Fi Enthusiasts to sit on two teams of eight. Through the process of Elimination, we narrow down the teams to individual contestants, for in the end, there can be only ONE.

September 30, 2007 - Sci-Fi on the Rock is pleased to announce that comic artist Paul Tucker will be joining us for 2008!

August 30, 2007 - With the popularity and growth of Facebook, Sci-Fi on the Rock has now created it's very own Facebook group. Here you can also find updates, as well as be involved with helping shape our fundraising events. You can also post any idea's you might have for the convention.

August 30, 2007 - We are very pleased and excited to announce that Jeremy Bulloch is now a confirmed guest for 2008!!

August 26 2007 - Kenneth Tam and Vader Party are confirmed to return for Sci-Fi on the Rock II!

August 26, 2007 - Given the overwhelmingly positive reception of last years convention by the public, Sci-fi on the Rock has not only extended the convention to become a two day event, but has also decided to move the convention into the Holiday Inn for 2008!!
